Meet
Kevin McPherson

Kevin is the Founding Partner at McPherson Law and represents some of the biggest brands in the automotive (motorcycle) and energy drink industries. Kevin’s practice includes intellectual property protection, cease & desist recovery and ex parte litigation against counterfeit and infringing online and offline sellers. He also advises clients on intellectual property protection and management, which includes Customs and Border training and enforcement, online and offline enforcement, and conducting and organizing distributor and factory raids.

Prior to forming McPherson Law, Kevin was Counsel at Lee & Hayes; Sr. director of brand protection,
corporate counsel for Otter Products, LLC; brand protection manager for New Era Cap Co., Inc; and senior trademark enforcement coordinator for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. In his various roles, he was responsible for global anti-counterfeiting enforcement, authorized reseller programs, minimum advertised price (MAP) policies, and handling numerous, complex corporate agreements for the US, Canada, LATAM and APAC regions.

Kevin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law, where he earned an intellectual property certificate and was secretary of the Intellectual Property Law Society. He has a Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
